Ceramic prints and transfers
To produce decals for shaped and hollow objects, the varnish is applied with a screen printing table and a squeegee. Our fluxed and unfluxed varnishes are suitable for all our toner sets. For flat objects, you can choose laminate paper as a fast and clean solution. This is a simple, low-odour solution. Producing the prints with a transfer is viable from the first print – no large print runs required. With the ceramic printing systems from mz Toner Technologies, you can produce your ceramic prints for porcelain, glass or enamel quickly and economically.
-
Laminating paper with inglaze flux
Suitable for high-temperature decals over 1000 °C, printed with our inglaze toner set. Laminate papers are recommended only for flat and regular shapes.
-
Liquid cover coat with inglaze flux
For coating your high-temperature decals above 1,000 °C. Best possible combination with the red unfluxed toner set for high-temperature ranges.
-
Laminating paper with glass flux
Especially suitable for use in combination with our low-temperature toners in a firing temperature range around 600 °C; see the glass toner sets.
-
Liquid cover coat with glass flux
Glass toners were developed for lower firing temperatures, around 600 °C. In addition to our special paper with white backing, we also offer the appropriate liquid cover coat with glass flux.
-
Laminating paper with lead-free flux
The lead-free fluxed laminate paper is particularly suitable for use in combination with our also lead-free toner sets.
-
Liquid cover coat with lead free flux
This liquid cover coat contains lead-free flux and is therefore suitable for use with all our lead-free ceramic toner sets. It can be used for all object shapes, in particular in the tableware industry.
-
Laminating paper with selenium flux
Recommended in combination with our toner set selenium “classic” and only on flat surfaces.
-
Liquid cover coat with selenium flux
We recommend the liquid cover coat with selenium flux in combination with our selenium set “classic”. You can use the fluxed varnish for decals on a variety of different object shapes.
-
Laminating paper with standard flux
Our yellow laminate paper with standard flux is suitable for firing temperatures up to 900 °C. The laminate paper is suitable only for application on flat surfaces.
-
Liquid cover coat with standard flux
Yellow liquid cover coat with standard flux, suitable for applications at a firing temperature of up to 900 °C. Can be used on all object shapes.
-
Laminating paper without flux
Our clear laminate paper is unfluxed and therefore suitable for applications without flux edges, e.g. logo prints or text.
-
Liquid cover coat without flux
Liquid cover coat without flux suitable for ceramic decoration without flux edges, e.g. logo decals or text. You can use the varnish without flux on all object shapes.
Criteria for selecting the right paper
For varnishes and laminate paper, you can choose between different variants. You can use functional paper that was produced with or without flux. The paper variants are divided into paper with standard flux, lead-free flux, selenium flux, glass flux or flux for inglaze applications. Paper without prefluxing is used in combination with toners containing flux. The advantage of toners containing flux is primarily a visual one: Images printed on unfluxed paper do not leave behind any visible fluxing edge and therefore also no decal effect. This gives the product a continuously glossy appearance. This process is also recommended for high-quality complex prints.
